Your Top Three Priorities as Operations Manager:
- Operational Efficiency: Optimize processes, streamline workflows, and allocate resources effectively to drive productivity and efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment by promoting effective communication, encouraging teamwork, and leveraging cross-functional expertise.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement, implement innovative solutions, and monitor performance to ensure ongoing enhancements.
Key Responsibilities on a Day-to-Day Basis:
- Evaluate existing operational processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices for increased efficiency.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Cultivate a collaborative work environment that encourages effective communication, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Assign projects and tasks based on team members' skills and capacity, ensuring a balanced workload and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with team members to implement new technologies and tools that enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to agreed-upon timelines.
- Regularly assess process effectiveness through audits and analysis, implementing enhancements to eliminate bottlenecks and streamline workflows.
- Work closely with the finance department to develop and manage the operational budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements, and data privacy laws, implementing and enforcing operational policies and procedures.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
- Business education and/or certification is a bonus but not required. Experience, knowledge, continuing self-education, and references are more important than formal education.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in operations management within a remote digital marketing agency setting.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing processes, tools, and industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize operations, streamline workflows, and drive organizational efficiency.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savviness and adaptability to new technologies and software platforms.
